What to expect during Career Orientation Week
From 13–17 April, the Career Lab will be open in the AUC Common Room, with additional sessions taking place across campus and beyond. Stop by at any time during the week to work on your CV, explore Master’s programmes, take a personality test, or simply see what sparks your interest. Activity Description Navigate Your Career Journey
Turn vague ideas about “the future” into something concrete. Through structured exercises and guided reflection, you will identify what motivates you, what drains you, and what drives you, and discover careers that might suit you.
Interactive CV building workshop Learn what employers and admissions officers actually look for and how to position your Liberal Arts and Sciences experience to give you an advantage. Bring your laptop and a draft CV if you have one.

A CERN engineer and an HR recruiter will share what they look for in candidates. Join the session to learn how you can land an internship at the world’s most famous physics lab.
From AUC to NGO: How do you turn impact into a career? An honest look at building a career in NGOs and impact-driven organisations. Alumna Anke de Boer shares her path from AUC into sustainability, climate finance and international partnerships, including several CP/I opportunities that might be relevant for you.

Activity Description International Talent Event Amsterdam Go beyond campus and visit one of the largest career events specifically for internationals. Meet more than 40 employers, attend workshops, explore the labour market, and start building your professional network outside AUC.
From AUC to startup: How do you move from idea to company? From your first idea to founding a company, what does it actually take? Startup Village will introduce their Nursery incubator programme, and AUC alumnus Omer Sharon Gabay will share what building MindStash has really been like.
