It’s a busy time of year, so we’re bringing you the second edition of the Final Stretch Week: a whole week of relaxation and de-stressing activities designed to help you recharge. Whether you’re looking to take a quiet break, enjoy a chair massage, or just unwind with friends, we’ve got something for everyone. See the full programme here!

The “Take a Break” Space (Common Room)

The Common Room (0.08) will turn into a space that you can always count on to relax you! These stations will be available for use from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:00. 

  • Massage Chairs: Relax and recharge with an on-demand chair massage, perfect for a quick de-stress between study sessions.
  • Study Break Games: Take a mental break with a mix of games, including sudokus, crosswords, board games, Nintendo, and colouring mandalas. 
  • Unwind Lounge: Step into a calm, comfortable space with bean bags designed for rest and reset during your study day. 
  • Summer Sips & Snacks: Refresh with free lemonade, plus a selection of fresh fruit and healthy snacks to keep you going.

Some activities and opportunities in the Final Stretch Week will be offered at specific times. Check the schedule below to know when you can expect them!  

Monday 18 May
  • Social Study with Peer Support

    18 May | 15:30-18:30 | AB (location TBD) 

    Come by anytime for a low-pressure study session, with peer support, who are available to chat about how you are doing during these busy times.  

Tuesday 19 May
  • Talk to an SLO | 11.00 – 16.00 | Common Room  

    This week the SLOs are offering more than just their typical office hours. On Tuesday and Thursday, you can talk to an SLO at any time by just dropping by the Common Room.  

    Note: they'll be happy to move to a more private space with you – just let them know!
