Mandatory workshop for all new first-year students
What does consent look like? And what does it mean to set boundaries? Our Bodies Our Voice will join forces with AUC's Student Life Officers to inform students on how to enable a safe student experience. They will also review support services and structures available in cases of discrimination, harassment and sexual violence. Dividing all first-year students into smaller groups, the workshop offers space for questions and interactions.
The workshops will take place on the following dates. First-year students will be allocated a workshop date by email.

About Our Bodies Our Voice
Our Bodies Our Voice is a non-profit foundation working to prevent sexual violence and establish consent culture at universities in the Netherlands through workshops and trainings. Their mission is to ingrain consent culture into the daily lives of individuals and empower them to break the cycle of sexual violence in the university context through empathy and introspection.
The Student Life Officers offer support for any AUC student on all topics related to student well-being. The SLOs and the Well-Being Team help to maintain a safe, secure and pleasant living environment for the entire AUC community. Headed by the SLOs, the team includes the Graduate Assistant to the SLOs, Peer Support, and the Resident Assistants. In addition to welfare and safety, the Well-Being Team helps bring the community together through smaller workshops and events. Find out more on our Instagram @aucwellbeingteam.
