Introduction Week: 28 August 2026

Programme for Day 5

Together with your mentor group, you will join the University of Amsterdam's Intreeweek for the final day of Introduction Week. During this full day of activities, you'll have the opportunity to meet students from across the UvA, take part in a range of fun events, and expand your network beyond AUC. Below, you'll find Friday's full programme, including activity descriptions and locations.
  • All day: individual tutor meetings

    On Thursday and Friday, you will have a brief one-on-one meeting (around 20 minutes) with your academic tutor. During this meeting, you can discuss any questions or concerns about your upcoming courses and learn more about what to expect from your tutor.

    Your tutor will confirm the time and location earlier in the week. Please note that these meetings are mandatory and take priority over other workshops and committee activities.

  • 13:00 - 17:00 Intree Open Air

    Intree Open Air

    Wrap up your Introduction Week at Intree Open Air, an event organised by the UvA's official Introduction Week (Intreeweek), where you can relax, have fun and meet UvA students. Whether you're into live music, creative workshops, sports, games or other activities, there's something for everyone! Please note that there is a small entrance fee of €10, which includes dinner.


    Please remember to bring a valid form of identification and your phone, as you'll need to download an app to complete your registration.

  • 17:00-21:00 Intree Festival

    The Intree Festival brings your Introduction Week to a festive conclusion. Grab a bite, and enjoy music from great headliners!
