Who are the AUC Ambassadors?

The AUC Ambassadors is a group of enthusiastic students that are representing AUC at information days and events. They do this at our own campus, travelling to various secondary schools in the Netherlands and online. The Ambassadors introduce our study programme, our university, Amsterdam and student life to prospective students, parents and counsellors. Who better to share these kinds of stories than current AUC students? 

Vacancy Student Ambassador 2025-2026

Are you interested in helping prospective students learn more about AUC? Would you like to be part of a team of students that gets to represent AUC at information days and events? Would you like to create content for our Instagram channel and chat online with prospective students? If any of this sounds like you, sign up now and join the Student Ambassadors team!

What we ask of you

• You are a current AUC student.
• You are available for our AUC Open Day. This will probably hosted on Saturday 11 October or Saturday 1 November 2025 (09:00-17:00, date to be confirmed).
• You are available to attend 2-3 activities per month (information events and school visits) and short periods of time throughout the week (answer questions on UniBuddy or Day in the Life stories).
• You have a great deal of enthusiasm for welcoming prospective students to AUC events. And while you may not know everything about AUC, you enjoy telling people about your study programme, dorm room and/or extracurricular activities.
• Optional: you have experience with creating social content. You think a fun Instagram reel is easy to make, and you don't mind sharing what a day in your life looks like at AUC.
• Important side note: we understand if one thing appeals to you more than another in being an Ambassador, so please let us know where your interests and strengths lie.

We offer you a fun team to be part of! Being part of the Ambassadors team is a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow students as well as to develop yourself personally. You will also receive vouchers for the hours you work.

Don't forget to mention your interests and strengths. Do you have experience with creating social content? If so, we would love to see some examples of your creations. If we think you are a good fit, we will invite you for an interview. The application deadline is 28 April 2025.
