Policy around promotional content on campus & online
Student boards, committees, and other student-related initiatives are permitted to display information about their events or opportunities on the designated student event poster boards (these are on the ground floor, first floor and second floor).
Any other posters, whether commercial or personal, must receive approval from AUC Communications, before they can be distributed in the building. The team can be contacted via info@auc.nl. There is one free poster board right by the ground floor stairs for various “opportunities” that students want to make other students aware of. As long as the initiative does not have a commercial purpose (then contact info@auc.nl approval) – and does not spread hate, discrimination, harassment or violence, it can be used freely to share “opportunities”. The poster board will be monitored, posters may be removed if deemed inappropriate.
The poster frames in the AB toilets are specifically designated for official communications from the AUC Communications team, the AUC Student Life Officers, and the boards of the AUC Student Association and AUC Student Council.
Other parties are only allowed to distribute posters on the pinboards on the ground floor and floor 1 and 2.

Events organised by or involving AUC staff members or students may be promoted under the events section of student.auc.nl. Please note we only allow the promotion of events that are officially organised on AUC, UvA or VU premises. Students that are organising events on behalf of a committee may consult the AUCSA calendar to promote their event.
