AUC frequently hosts small-scale seminars by inviting interesting guest speakers who are ‘in town’ for presentations and debates. These seminars are collaborative efforts with AUC students and offer a platform to debate topics related to the ‘big questions' in science and society.

On a regular basis, AUC organises small-scale seminars by inviting interesting guest speakers who are "in town" for presentations and debates with members of the academic community. The seminars are organised with AUC students or faculty members as part of their extra-curricular activities. They aim to connect debates in science and society by focusing on, and adding more nuanced perspectives to, topics related to "the big questions".

Agenda

WiT lectures are always announced on the AUC's website under the events section.

Attending

Attendance is free of charge for both students and external visitors. Registration is not necessary. Interested attendants should arrive 5 minutes before the start of the lecture. Most lectures are in AUC's common room.

  2. The name and a brief biography of the speaker
