5 November

  • Individual Coaching | 09:30-11:00, Room 1.12
If you're feeling unsure about your next steps – whether it’s choosing a Master’s programme, selecting courses that align with your future plans, or figuring out what kind of career might suit you – this one-on-one session is for you. Meet with Career Coach Lilian Frenkel from the UvA Student Career Centre to explore your interests, discuss your options, and receive personalised guidance on navigating life after AUC. Book your individual meeting here.

  • Introduction to Master’s Programmes (Information Session) | 12:45-14:15, Room 1.02
Curious about how a Master’s degree can open up future opportunities? Wondering how to approach the application process and what deadlines to meet? This informative session with Dr. Luis Suarez, lecturer and tutor, is designed especially for second- and third-year students thinking about graduate school. You'll get an overview of what to expect from a Master’s programme, discover helpful resources, and take away practical tips to guide you through the next steps with confidence. Have specific questions in mind? Send them in advance to make sure they’re addressed during the session.

6 November

  • Motivation Letter Writing Workshop | 12:45-14:15, Common Room
This interactive workshop will help you identify your strengths and communicate them clearly when discussing your studies, goals, and achievements. You’ll learn how to position yourself authentically in applications, write a strong motivation letter, and tell your personal story in a way that resonates. Led by Career & Well-being Coach Hannah Ray and lecturer and tutor Dr. Joost Krijnen, the session includes hands-on exercises, guided reflection, and writing time. You'll leave with early drafts and a clearer sense of how to present yourself in your Master's applications.
