Adjusted opening hours

During the summer, the AUC academic building has adjusted opening hours:

30 June - 11 July

• Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 18:00
• Saturday - Sunday: closed

12 July – 3 August

• Closed for all visitors, students and staff

4 August – 31 August

• Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 18:00
• Saturday - Sunday: closed

From 1 September, regular opening hours will apply.

Staff working remote when building is closed

Although the Academic Building will be closed from 12 July to 3 August, staff will be working remotely. If you have a question or need to get in touch with a staff member during that time, please do so by email or schedule a virtual meeting in advance. Staff members who cannot or do not want to work from will discuss with their supervisor or department head about working from another University of Amsterdam location (Science Park 904, for example).

No telephone or in-person Student Service Desk office hours

When the building is open, students are welcome to use the study spaces and attend events. However, there will be no Student Service Desk Telephone or in-person Student Service Desk office hours from 30 June 2025 until 17 August 2025. 

If you need to meet with an AUC staff member during the summer break, please be sure to schedule your appointment in advance. Submit any question or request you may have via the Digital AUC Student Service Desk.
