UvA AI Chat now available for AUC students

Try out AI safely within UvA systems

From 1 September, all UvA students and staff, including AUC students, can use the new UvA AI Chat. The tool works in a similar way to applications such as ChatGPT, but with one important difference: all data stays within UvA systems and is processed anonymously. This means you can explore what generative AI can do in a safe way and within clear boundaries.

The UvA built its own AI Chat to offer a safe and transparent alternative to commercial AI tools. It is designed to help students and staff experiment with AI while keeping privacy and academic integrity at the centre. Using the chat is also a great way to improve your AI literacy.
